I had actually done this is late winter, as I had all the covers off all winter. I put them on this spring. I took some pictures with my aging 1 megapixel digital camera, but could never get it right.

A friend from the MN Audi club took this at the German Car Fest this past summer, 2002. It's the clearest and best shot that I have. The paint is Audi spec'd Desert Green (SteppenGrasse), mixed by a local shop. They added in some reducer so I could spray it. I used a small detailer type spray gun set-up, and about 20 psi on the compressor. I used a commercial high temp. clear coat, from a auto parts store for the finish. It got a lot of compliments at the show.
